N
ow that (hopefully) we have passed the colder and rainier months and that spring is here,
we can all relax and enjoy what so many Hong Kong families love to do in their spare
time –
keeping active and getting outdoors
. I love nothing more than
going for an exhilarating
run on the trails
, stretching out in a
yoga session
or
having a competitive
game of soccer
with my boys but I also like the idea of trying
out different sports and activities. If you fancy giving a water sport a whirl with your children, we have the
comprehensive guide to some of the best spots in Hong Kong to do so. This could be the year your family
becomes a bunch of
expert divers or sailors
. Ship ahoy!
We also have your family-friendly guide to taking in the Sevens for those who want to soak up the
atmosphere with their youngsters. We have a great feature that includes
tips from swimming
experts
about when and how to introduce your child to the water and swimming lessons – if they're ready,
now is a good time to start building confidence before the summer season, when
swimming pool
visits are a necessity just to cool down
.
And it’s pretty lucky that we are looking at keeping our kids (and ourselves) active this month because we
all know what the Easter bunny is likely to bring at the end of this month – chocolate!
If you are celebrating it, enjoy Easter and the indulgent
season of chocolate
– I know I will.
